Why does it say I have to have a "dash" in my account number?
This payment service is only provided to NEC Retail customers who have AEP, Oncor, CenterPoint or TNMP handling their powerlines. If your account number at the top of your bill has a "hyphen" or "dash" in the number then you are at the right place to pay your bill.
If you are an NEC member who also has NEC powerlines, you'll note that your account number does NOT have a dash, in which case you need to use the payment services provided at www.nueceselectric.org or call 1-800-NEC-WATT (632-9288).

Can I add additional services to my existing account such as meters for barns, home additions, or outside lighting? Yes.  Please fill out the enrollment form located at Choose Us and follow the instructions.

Why do I need to fill out another enrollment form to add services when I am already a member? Every meter attached to your home / business requires an individual account for reading and billing purposes. A new account will need to be setup in order to complete the move-in or switch order to ensure your services will be ready where and when you need it. You will receive one bill for all of your accounts.
